Help Build a Legacy
Our dear Drennen Peter O'Melia died on June 6, 2010. While we will always grieve the loss, he left our hearts filled with lessons about how to live life to the fullest and how to love unconditionally. Drennen had just finished the 6th grade at Powell Middle School when he passed away at the age of twelve. A member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church,Drennen loved attending the youth group. He regularly brought friends, to various youth group activities. Before his untimely death, his church had begun plans to build a youth center. When Drennen saw these plans, he frequently asked when it would get started - reminding us how important it could be for youth to have a special place to call their own. Drennen's family and those who knew him miss him very much and we want to keep his love burning bright. St. Timothy's Episcopal Church is partnering with the O'Melia family and friends to help realize the first of of Drennen'sdreams, by building the Drennen O'Melia Youth Center at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. For over 20 years, countless youth have benefitted from St. Timothy's thriving youth program, and many more willcontinue to benefit through this special place. Thanks to Drennen's life and inspiration, with your help, the Drennen O'Melia Youth Center can become a reality and provide a safe haven for all youth throughout our community.
